We have been asked by Dock Police to change the way we enter and leave the dock estate. They are concerned they do not have a “live” record of who is on site. To address this concern we are to use a “ Site Record” form.
A simple form detailing the vehicle registration, passenger names, polsaf pass numbers and contact telephone numbers, is to be handed in to the gatehouse on arrival. This form is then kept in the gatehouse. On leaving the docks, stop at the gatehouse give the Security staff the vehicle registration and confirm all the passengers are leaving. Security will then mark the form as “left”.
In the event that Security have a form remaining un- marked long after all other anglers have left they will investigate if the angler detailed on the form is still on site, possibly having had an accident and needing assistance.

Each vehicle on each trip into the docks needs a new form completed, with all passenger details.
